  1. hello. I dye my hair kanina ng intense medium blonde. then after 1 hour binanlawan ko na sya.. ayun ung tuktuk lang ang naging blonde ung ibaba black padin *ung dating kulay* Do You think na ka pag nag bleach ako ng hair maaabsorb na nya ung mga pang kulay ??? thank u po :*

    1. Hi Verlyn, what kind of bleach did you use? Your roots (area near your scalp) will always go lighter than the lower part of your hair. I’ve read that it may be caused by body heat, more heat, more process. Always cover your hair with a plastic shower cap or foil while processing, plus(!), don’t over-process it! Leaving the bleach for an hour can cause a great damage, worst case – you’ll go bald. Maybe do more readings/research about bleaching and give your hair a rest while doing that. Thanks!

  2. Hi! I wanted to ask if saang shop sa Quiapo specifically ka bumibili ng hair produts like the bleach and hair colors? Thank you! I love your blog!! #Hairgoals

  3. Hi Nikita! I can’t believe I just found your blog! I’ve only been in three pages and they were already so much more satisfying than what I’ve learned in all other blogs I’ve seen so far. I don’t have any particular question so I’m just dropping by to say I appreciate how generous you are in sharing your hair chronicles online. Off to explore more of your tips and instructions!

  4. Hi Nikita! Thank God I found your blog. 🙂 May I ask, same case din po. Nag dye ako, black, okay lang po kayang mag bleach na ko using Hortaleza product since 2 weeks palang ako nakakapag black? Thanks po, more power and more hair color to come. 😁

    1. Hi Diane, you can bleach it, but always practice caution. Check how to ‘healthy’ bleach hair to avoid porous hair. Thank you for your comments! Hoping to hear from the outcome.

  5. Hi! I have a jet black. Is it ok if I bleach it and color it after with light chocolate? Do you think the color will turn out good? Thanks.

    1. Hi Ixcxy, thank you for reading my blog.

You can do it, but you have to take into consideration: the damages and the color outcome of bleaching a jet black hair. It will be a bright red-orange brown after first bleaching that it would be enough to become “light chocolate” (which honestly I’m not sure where it lands on the brown spectrum).

Try bleaching it once and if you find it close enough to the desired color, tone it down using toners. Coloring it with another dye may darken it into a dark brown. If you still find it dark, bleach it again after 3 months (advisable).

It is also best to consult a hair professional to minimize unwanted results. Good luck!

  6. Hi Nikita!

I came across your blog when I was on the research phase of my crazy hair ambitions, haha! I currently have blue hair, I used bremod’s blue. I only bleached it once and got a light orange kind of hair prior to the blue one. I was just wondering what the blue will fade into… XD Thanks for your response! :))

    1. Hi Max,

Thank you for reading my posts. Most likely it will be more on the green shade or Teal. But since you’re using Bremod and its like, it may – or may not – overpower the current light orange, thus cancelling it. It would be a very dirty green.

Please share with us what shade it would fade into. 🙂

      1. Hi again, Nikita!

Update: hair has faded into a muddy green color?? hahaha! and i must say i’m not feeling it.. XD You think I could maybe bleach my hair again? or should I wait for the green tint to wash out completely and then bleach? Thanks as always!

      2. Thanks for the update, Max!

Kind of expecting that. Haha Since you don’t like it, you could actually strip it off directly using bleach. Remember to always do it with caution!

I also suggest that you use a toner first, before applying any color on your hair, so you will have a neutral base. ☺️
